This module includes the endocrine system and the different types of addiction. There are seven chapters that includes student activities, a laboratory exercise, assessments, and competencies. Students will learn: 1. Different types of addiction 2. How to use a glucose meter 3. The difference between Type I and Type II diabetes 4. How the Endocrine System uses hormone cascades in a fight or flight response 5. Some of the malfunctions of the Endocrine System and the impact on the body.
